Well this is an exciting time for my family. Our Texas roots have been calling us back home, at least for the winter that is. This week we will begin our transition to Texas for the Winter months and Colorado for the beautiful summers!
We have been in Colorado Springs for eleven years now and we have loved it! We’ve started not only our businesses here but our family as well. I have spent much of my time this week reflecting on a series of events that have happened in our community, and close to home. These events have made me realize the beauty of what we have here. I live in an amazing downtown neighborhood filled with friends that own coffee shops, friends that photograph our kids each year, friends that work next to me at the Machine Shop and friends that lead our downtown community. I didn’t realize this was all part of my closer community until this week and it makes me proud to be a part of such an amazing place.
I know we’ll never be able to recreate our Colorado Springs lifestyle in Texas, but I know that we won’t be far removed from it as we’ll stay connected, picking up where we left off each time we visit. We look forward to seeing familiar faces when we are back this summer!
This community has embraced our family and CoPilot in ways I would have never imagined. We have made lifelong friends, experienced outdoor adventures, and grown CoPilot to be an integrated and valued asset to our community.
We hope to find some sense of community in our Texas town, New Braunfels, a small German town nestled between Austin and San Antonio. This town is packed with a gigantic water park, two rivers that flow through the heart of it and an abundance of live music. Our doors are always open, so come visit!!
We look forward to this new chapter in our lives and we are excited for the new CoPilot adventures in both Colorado Springs and the Austin market.
